What’s the difference between the electric drill and the older electric drill pump?
- by admin
An electric drill is a water-based drill, while an older electric drum is a gas-based drilling tool.
They’re used in the drilling of gas deposits.
What’s their difference?
According to an article in the Journal of Petroleum Science, there’s a difference in the energy-discharge characteristics of each of them.
The drill’s efficiency is greater than that of the older drill pump.
The water-powered drill has an energy density of about 50-100 kilowatt-hours per cubic meter of gas, whereas the older one has a much higher energy density at about 250 kilowatts per cubic centimeter of gas.
This difference is the reason why the gas is easier to drill with a gas pump, whereas with an electric drill it’s more difficult to drill.
