Electric paper drill for $60,000 goes up for auction in Toronto

The electric paper crane, or electric drill, for $61,000 is up for sale in Toronto.
The buyer is from the U.K. and it’s one of three used hydraulic machines that can be used to move papers in the City of Toronto.
The crane has been around since the early 1990s, but it’s now getting older.
It’s worth about $60 to $70,000.
“It was designed for people that are older than 20,” said Doug Beddow, a mechanic who owns Beddows and Sons Mechanic in North York.
“You can get used to doing it, but once you start working on it, you want to get as close as you can to it.”
The machine is an old favourite among Toronto crane operators.
The tool has a lifespan of about 20 years and can handle about 20 tonnes of paper.
It’s designed to be used on paper that has to be placed on a flat surface, like a desk, and it has a built-in lid that can protect the paper from being crushed or damaged.
The lid has been moved so it can be moved to a different spot.
“You can use it to move a book, or you can move a chair, you can put something on the floor or anything that you can see,” said Beddoes son.
We have no problem with it. “
It’s been around for years and we’ve had people tell us that this is their machine.
A few years ago, a friend who had just purchased the machine from Beddoe bought it for $62,000 from the same company that bought the old paper crane in North Yorkshire. “
But if you have a very fragile paper that’s sitting on the table and you want it to stay there for 20 years, this isn’t the machine for you.”
A few years ago, a friend who had just purchased the machine from Beddoe bought it for $62,000 from the same company that bought the old paper crane in North Yorkshire.
“That’s how old it is,” said the friend.
“They’re just saying, ‘This is one of our older ones that we sold a few years back, so we don’t want it anymore.'”
But now that the buyer has put down a deposit, the buyer can use the crane as a part of the construction of the new $2-million waterfront condo that will be built near the new building on York Street East.
The new condo building is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
“The crane is just a good example of why it’s so important that we invest in these tools and the materials that we need,” said Toronto Councillor Paul Ainslie.
“We need them to be around as long as we need them.”
The buyer of the crane said he was motivated by the recent earthquake and fire in Nepal.
“This is something that I have a lot of respect for, but we have been affected by disasters all over the world and the people that have been working in the field are the ones that really do need this,” he said.
“And I think that’s what we need to continue to do.”
The crane can handle up to about 150 tonnes of material.
